Born in Evanston, Illinois my parents and I moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana when I was 2. As of May 2009, I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky, with a Bachelor of Arts. Drawing has been a part of my life ever since I was 3. Most of my life was spent creating images of already existing characters, until one day during my sophomore year in high school when I show an image to my Dad, who asked me, “Why are you drawing something that someone else already created? You should be drawing your own characters.” What my Dad said to me really hit me, and from that point on I have been drawing and creating my own characters. My current style was created during my sophomore year in college when I wanted to break away from drawing Japanese Anime characters, and started drawing characters with different shaped faces and bodies. These characters then evolved into what is seen today. My style has a Hip-Hop graffiti street influence to them, which was purely unintentional at first, but have come to embrace it as a part of my work.
